Why I started Promositron
I've spent over 25 years in IT — from enterprise networks at large corporations to fixing the printer for a one-person accountancy firm in Wandsworth at 8am on a Monday. Over time I noticed something: small businesses in SW London were getting a raw deal.
Either they were paying over the odds for a large agency that assigned them a junior and sent invoices that made no sense, or they were relying on a mate-of-a-mate who'd disappear for weeks when something went wrong. There was no-one who would just show up, speak plainly, fix it, and charge fairly.
So I built Promositron to be that person. Based in Crystal Palace SE19, covering the whole of SW London — Wimbledon, Putney, Richmond, Kingston, Wandsworth, Merton and everything in between. I'm one call away. I answer my phone. I turn up when I say I will.
Over the years I've set up networks for restaurants, built websites for estate agents, automated the admin for a physiotherapy clinic, and got more than a few business owners back online on a Saturday morning when they thought their day was ruined. That's the job. I love it.

Started in IT
First IT role. The internet was new, laptops were the size of briefcases, and Wi-Fi didn't exist yet. A lot has changed since then. The fundamentals haven't.
